LICENSE AGREEMENT

Website & Mobile Application: ED CELL Platform
Developed for: Entrepreneurship Development Cell (ED CELL)
Developer: Jagadish Prasad Pattanaik

1. Preamble

This License Agreement ("Agreement") is made and entered into by Jagadish Prasad Pattanaik, the sole developer and copyright holder of the ED CELL platform (website and/or mobile application), and the Entrepreneurship Development Cell (ED CELL).
This Agreement governs the usage, maintenance, ownership, attribution, and liability terms of the ED CELL system, including all code, design, logic, and infrastructure for both the website and the app.

2. Ownership & Copyright

  • The complete source code, design, logic, and infrastructure of both the website and mobile application have been solely developed by Jagadish Prasad Pattanaik.
  • All intellectual property rights, authorship, and copyrights belong exclusively to the developer.

3. Grant of Rights to ED CELL

  • The ED CELL platform is provided to ED CELL for official use by the Cell only.
  • Access to the source code is provided strictly for maintenance purposes by authorized personnel of ED CELL.
  • ED CELL may not reuse, distribute, clone, sell, or repurpose any part of the code or design for other projects without explicit written consent from the developer.

4. Attribution Requirements

  • The name "Jagadish Prasad Pattanaik" must be clearly displayed and credited on both the website and mobile app, as well as in their code repositories.
  • Any future contributors may be referred to as Maintainers, but may not modify or remove the original author attribution.

5. Mandatory License Visibility

  • Be included as a LICENSE.txt file in the root of all repositories (web and app).
  • Be linked from the live website and, where applicable, within the app (e.g., in the "About" or "Legal" section).

6. Liability and Disclaimer

The developer bears no responsibility for data leaks, security breaches, or unauthorized activity arising from mismanagement of:

  • Admin dashboards
  • APIs
  • Database access
  • Server configurations

After delivery, all responsibility lies with ED CELL and its technical team or authorized maintainers.

7. Restrictions

  • Not alter, copy, or reuse the source code or design outside the scope of maintenance.
  • Not remove or obscure developer credits.
  • Not sublicense or assign the rights to third parties or other departments without consent.

8. Termination

Violation of any term in this license agreement shall result in immediate revocation of granted rights. The developer reserves the right to seek legal remedy under Indian law.

9. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

10. Acknowledgement

By deploying, managing, or maintaining the ED CELL website or app, ED CELL agrees to all terms outlined in this Agreement.
